The Periodic Table

History

The periodic table of elements consists of around 118 known elements. Being invented in 1869, by Dimitri Mendeleev, a well known chemist πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”¬

Dimitri Mendeleev had arranged the elements via their atomic weight. At first, Dimitri Mendeleev only had a few elements that he had known off to add to the table. One of the major ones were;

  • Eka-Aluminum – which is now known as Gallium

Today

Today, the periodic table is known world wide for its contribution to from day to day tasks to in-depth engineering discoveries and advancements. Being useful in so many ways, the periodic table of elements is constantly going through minor edits by reputable research institutions to further improve the quality and accuracy of the information being put up on the table of elements.
